La Baia in Cochem

Dreadful. It's been a long time since I've seen such a bad pizza place.

Was eating in this pizzeria earlier and I am really impressed it tasted really good. The staff was very friendly really great when I'm back in Cochem will definitely come back to eat here ...

The restaurant was clean and tidy. The condition was very rushed and one was often overlooked as a result. Couldn't order a second drink as they just ignored us. The food itself was tasty and sufficient.

Great! Food and drinks are of high quality. The high prices are therefore absolutely justified. Maybe we could work on the greeting concept. We were briefly ignored and then sent across the restaurant to ask for a free table.

Saturday 19.09.2020 8 p.m. We cannot rate the food but only the short stay and it was surprising. We stood at the counter behind the young lady who ordered the guests to the tables and waited because there was a problem with an invoice correction. Meanwhile, other guests came to this counter who also wanted to pay. When she turned to these guests, I complained that we had been waiting here for some time and wanted to know if there was a table for us. The young lady then said very forcefully that we had to wait until our turn. Also my objection that we have been standing here for some time only had the effect that she rebuked us more energetically. Then I wanted to know if she would like us as guests in her house at all. Then she said: "If you like, you can go again if you like". That’s a clear statement. It's just a shame that we were there again and again during our visits to Cochem, as we are both vegetarians and unfortunately Cochem is still a few years behind. Here you could at least eat a couple of delicious pasta dishes. Of course that is no longer possible.

Unfortunately, I cannot give any information about food and drinks .... We were there at rush hour (it was quite full) with four people and without a reservation. We were lucky that we got a table. After waiting around 30 minutes, we didn't even receive a greeting, let alone a menu. What could be seen on the neighboring tables looked very good, so that our appetites were piqued. The beautiful terrace with a great view of the Moselle / promenade also invited to linger. Unfortunately we left the restaurant frustrated.

Nice terazza with relatively good pizza and pasta in Cochem. Plus beautiful view on the castle and very efficient service.

Are in Cochem every year and eat here every year. Delicious authentic Italian dishes. The pizzas are a poem and the meat is buttery soft. A must when you are in Cochem. Excellent ?

The food was really good, the waiters are super nice and fast. I can only recommend it! :)

We were late today, after the information that the kitchen is about to close, we made a quick decision and got a great meal. The conditions were super courteous and friendly, our girls only wanted a little something and ordered bruscetta and wanted to share it, they brought a separate plate with them immediately ???.

Very nice here. Clean, tasty, nice view of the valley. We ordered wine and pizza = perfect. The coffee is delicious too :). We'll definitely be back.

Had pizza today at La Baia. Fair is fair it was good! But the service was very bad on all sides. Eventually walked to the bar with 2 empty glasses and they didn't like that. No contact possible with the service ... Super impersonal! Even at the checkout we were not given a look. Too bad .... But not us again!

The quality of the food is very good. However, the staff is very arrogant: they can't smile, the food is almost thrown on the table, when you ask the waiter for a drink, he comes to you with a sigh. We did not tip for this reason at checkout. Instead of my debit card being returned, it was thrown back on the desk after which I had to pick it up myself.

The food tasted good. The location and the view from the terrace are also good. What stood out: - The dirty knife was brought but not replaced - did not get an address slip (Corona) - several guests were walking around without a protective mask and were probably not informed about it - The elevator should actually be used as an entrance and the stairwell as an exit, but since this was only pointed out sporadically, not everyone stuck to it I consider the last three points to be irresponsible to the guests!

Pizza and pasta are really tasty and good! Sitting on the terrace is also pretty nice and also in the shade !! An espresso on the house, with a bill of 130 euros, would have been a great pleasure. All in all, however, recommendable.

We wanted to eat with 11 people. 2 tables were immediately set up on the outdoor terrace with a fantastic view of the Mosel and nature. Very helpful staff but could be a bit happier. Very nice wine and the food was very good. Recommended for those who love Italian ....

I went to eat there with my friends and it is 100% recommended! The ambience and the view are perfect, the service was incredibly quick and the pizzas (5 in total) and one pasta dish were ready incredibly quickly. All of us enjoyed it! The pizzas were perfectly thin and the noodles were firm to the bite with a really tasty sauce. Definitely try it out!

Haven’t tried the food, but the service was very bad. Waited at the table for 20 minutes with 3 waiters not showing any attention. A waiter suddenly brought food but we told her we hadn’t even seen the menu yet. She left in confusion without a word. Another waiter came with drinks, and we told him again we hadn’t ordered, as we still hadn’t seen the menu. He also left without a word. We waited another few minutes and decided to leave as the waiters did not show the guests any interest.

Great food and service and amazing view on the Mosel River. We really enjoyed all the food we had.

Overpriced food. No cards accepted. Only bottled water available - needlessly expensive and bad for the environment.

Nice Italian restaurant with a cosy terrace upstairs. Good and friendly service. The parpadelle della casa was lovely, carbonara not so great. Only cash!

Unfortunately, very disappointed. Prices absolutely overpriced and not even tasty. Pizza bandaged and hardly toppings pasta too soft and not served nicely. Never again. The situation was only positive.

Definitely the best Italian I had so far in Germany. Last year I’ve tried more than 15 Italian restaurants in the wider area of Düsseldorf and this one tops them all! Delicious pizza, Very tasteful pasta! Great and fast service by extremely polite staff! Highly recommended!

Restaurant with a great location and great views of the Moselle and the castle. Unfortunately the food was not very good. I find it very strange that you can't pay with a card - especially given the slightly higher prices.

A place with a nice view. In my experience, though, it didn't live up to expectations and current rating. It's probably the first pizza place I encountered, where they won't cut your pizza for you - as "this is not available even if you ask". Service on a slow side of spectrum. Cards are not accepted, cash only.

The food was very bland without any seasoning. While the view is great, the menu item descriptions are incorrect, meat is overcooked and the pizza was burnt.

Just perfect. Did not expect that the little front door would lead to a balcony overlooking the bridge and the river. Friendly, fast service. Excellent pizzas! Will definitely be coming here again.
